Nor is it some kind of moral failing. It just is. In and of itself, it is meaningless. We decide what meaning it gets. If fat=bad to you and you’re not willing to reconsider that stance, it says way more about your psychology than about anyone’s body. Including your own.
Ah yes, would someone please explain this to my subconscious? And also to everyone who keeps pointing out that I’ve gained weight.
I mean, I’d rather be small and kind of androgynous because that’s just how I see myself, but it really shouldn’t be this big a deal.
I have realized that being fat is not a crime, but I have also realized that being overweight is bad for my health. I’m not talking about a few pounds here and there, I don’t care about that, but when it hinders my life and makes me sick (or makes members of my family sick), then yes, I consider that somewhat of a bad thing, but that’s just me. I don’t think it’s a crime, but I’ve also never been one to celebrate obesity either because… well, I kinda wanna see the people I love (myself included) live for as long as possible without suffering illnesses they don’t have to.
Back pains, fear of diabetes, bad liver numbers, effed up metabolism, constantly grumpy or lethargic, joint pains because of the weight putting stress on my joints…
Yeah. I’ll get off my soap box in a second, but I’m just saying. We don’t have to make ourselves feel like shit for being fat or overweight or obese or whatever, but I don’t know if we should celebrate it either.
Just my two cents.
You assume that fat always equals unhealthy. It doesn’t. I know plenty of very active, fit fat people. And a lot of unhealthy thin people who eat like shit and smoke and do lots of unhealthy things to their bodies. All bodies have ailments, and they don’t always correspond with weight. And even if some of those ailments are caused by weight, so fucking what? Does that make “those” fat people less deserving of understanding, love, celebration, etc.? How about a thin person with genetically high cholesterol who eats like shit? Why is there not the same pity and derision aimed at that person (not saying there should be, just noting that there isn’t)? It is not a concern for health. It is a fear of fat.
You don’t have to celebrate a body because it’s fat. You should celebrate it because it’s a body.
All bodies are beautiful. And all bodies can be healthy. And all bodies can be unhealthy. The only thing you can diagnose by looking at a fat body is your own attitude about fat bodies.

So there is a new movie coming out called “The Purge”. If you are easily triggered at all do not look up the plot of this movie. I unfortunately had to deal with an invasive pandora advertisement that sent me into panic attacks. It also personifies the new age of horror movies resulting to extremely triggering subjects for cheap thrills. Just don’t.
I’ve got fantastic news. IF YOU AREN’T PART OF THE LGBTQ Community… What is there for you to understand if it isn’t affecting your life?
Here’s what should happen
- Everyone stay out of everyone’s personal life unless you are given permission
- Give us our rights because it’s about damn time already
- Not be curious about what we do in bed. We do what you do. We just do it better.
- Realize that Asexuals are just as important to our community as any other group.
- figure out that Bisexuals aren’t sluts and it’s not a “Transitioning” Sexuality. It’s literally called that because people KNOW they like the same sex but haven’t had the chance OR fully decided if they like the opposite.
- Pansexuals aren’t whores. They’re fascinating and morally beautiful people.
- Stop worrying about the sanctity of marriage please. Marriage couldn’t have been MORE destroyed if a million LGBTQ couples got married than it already had been last year (2012).
- It’s Adam and whoever the fuck he wants ok?
I apologize if I used wrong terms or anything. I had good intentions. Please feel free to inbox and correct me OR fix them yourself.

Can’t the freaking American government pass anti-gun laws, and actually do something that will benefit the general public, as opposed to trying to monitor my internet

ALRIGHT LISTEN UP!
SERIOUS BUSINESS RIGHT HERE!
CISPA just passed and is going to destroy everything!
Go to SitesNotSpies.org to sign up to join the protest and for further details.
It’s time to get pissed. The U.S. law that would turn Google, Facebook, and Twitter into legally immune government spies just passed the House.
This bill affects everyone — not just U.S. citizens. Anyone with a Facebook account could now have their data shipped directly to the U.S. government. That’s why Internet users overwhelmingly oppose this bill. Over 1.5 million people signed petitions against it. But Congress didn’t listen.
Does this remind you of something? Yep, this is the exact position we were in with SOPA last year. Then the Internet rose up and we made history with the SOPA strike.
CISPA threatens our most basic rights. Privacy is important not just for our security but for our rights to freedom of expression. The giant tech companies that stood with Internet users against SOPA are not going to help us this time (but some of the large sites like Mozilla, Imgur, and Reddit are all against CISPA and we love them).
Share this flyer, and tell everyone you know to sign up to join the protest!
Signal boost. This should definitely have more notes. And it takes two seconds. By the end of reading what I’ve posted, you could already have put your name to the petition. So go.
